Asfian Mohaimi is an Accredited Specialist in Building and Construction Law appointed by the Singapore Academy of Law. He is also an Adjudicator under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act. His core area of practice involves project advisory work including drafting and advising on bespoke and standard form contracts for major infrastructure, energy and commercial projects in the APAC region. Asfian is also active in contentious work involving owner-developers, contractors and consultants in various forums such as litigation, arbitration and adjudication. Asfian has acted as counsel in a range of arbitration proceedings involving construction and infrastructure disputes under the SIAC and SIA Rules. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Prior to joining the legal profession, Asfian was practicing as a quantity surveyor and was involved in the tender documentation and contract administration for various commercial, infrastructure and energy projects in Singapore and the Middle East.

Outside of practice, Asfian teaches Project Dispute Management at the National University of Singapore’s College of Design and Environment.
